Senior Network Engineer

• Designed and managed a highly available network and data center delivering wireless messaging to fortune 500 companies.
• Successfully relocated the production data center on two separate occasions.
• Lead a project that replaced our server load balancing and out-dated SSL solution with Big-IP switches.
• Setup all VPN IPsec tunnels with multiple carriers and maintained carrier relationships.
• Supported a mission critical complex Engineering lab/network with "best of breed" equipment. Network gear included: Foundry Server Iron, Cisco CSS and F5 Big-IP load balancers; Juniper Netscreen and Cisco PIX firewalls; Cisco Catalyst and Foundry Big Iron switches and routers.

Senior Network Engineer

• Principal Architect in the design and build out of multiple fully redundant 24/7 e-commerce data centers serving the airline and travel industry.
• Designed and supported all BGP peers with customers and Computer Reservation System companies where uptime was of the highest priority. Utilized BGP for load balancing and redundancy.
• Implemented and maintained all BGP peers with multiple Internet Service Providers. Replaced HSRP with an OSPF/BGP design to achieve 99.9% uptime and quick fail over.

• Planned and completed a highly visible project replacing the data center's Cisco Local Directors with F5 Big-IP and NetScaler web load balancers.
